Although this is a challenging time in healthcare, Team PT will continue to treat patients and clients who have immediate healthcare needs. We feel it is important to provide services for patients who have recently undergone surgical intervention or recently experienced an acute injury. We will continue to be cautious and follow the CDC regulations and provide a safe environment for our clients and patients alike. The American Physical Therapy Association has released a statement that is allowing Healthcare Services to continue providing physical therapy services. We will continue providing physical therapy with an altered schedule allowing time between patients that will limit contact and reduce the risk of spreading the Coronavirus. We will continue to be aggressive in the disinfecting of our equipment and our facility.

 

We will rely on our professional judgement to provide a safe environment for our staff and clients and will continue to closely monitor the progression of this epidemic. If the Coronavirus epidemic continues to worsen, as a licensed Physical Therapist I will make a decision in regard to a full shutdown of our facility.
